The Haines City Economic Development Council, Inc. has been in existence for 16 years here in Northeast Polk. We are a public/private, not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Florida. We are open to individuals or organizations with an interest in economic development in the City, County and State. We are managed by a board of directors who are the leaders in their fields relating to workforce, healthcare, education, infrastructure, utilities, engineering, transportation, law, banking and government entities.
